Unfortunately, our lovely fall weather is over and we are back to clouds and rain. But, Andrew and Heather were up for a rainy day session all over La Crosse. They put a ton of thought into their outfit choices and locations and even though we had to switch a location because it started raining, I think they still ended up with some lovely fall pictures.
I didn’t tell Heather and Andrew this during the session, but I came up with the idea for this picture when brainstorming poses for my own wedding day (way back when). We didn’t end up taking it, and I always think about it when I shoot at Pettibone. The colors were so perfect today, and I knew they had an umbrella with (my original idea included an umbrella too); today was the day. 🙂
Not sure why my couples lately want to run in the water when it is freezing, but I won’t stop them. Definitely makes a cute picture. 🙂
