Finally, Sunday evening we had some sun and nice weather around here. Brescia and Joe (or maybe I should say just Brescia? – I have to give Joe a bit of a hard time) picked some really great locations for their session. I had my fingers crossed for a nice, sunny evening and I wasn’t diasspointed.
We started at the Onalaska public high school where Brescia and Joe met way back when.
I had this idea to have them kissing under the bleachers. Though, they quickly told me that they would have been on the football field (Joe played football and Brescia was on the dance team). So, I suggested maybe this was after practice. Ha. 🙂
After the high school, we headed to Brescia’s parent’s house for some pictures with their dog and then up into the bluffs.
Because Brescia and Joe love to read and wanted to incorporate books into their session, I thought I’d try something a little different (for me) with a texture and writing.
After the bluffs, we had one more stop along the Black River for some sunset pictures.
After Sunday’s session, I kept thinking, can 2010 just get here already? I can’t wait for their wedding next July! Thanks, guys for a really fun night. Joe, I hope you had fun! I know Brescia and I did. 😉

LOVE this session! Beautiful shots in the grass with the blanket and books… love the colors with the blanket and her dress! They are too cute!! The texture shot rocks too!! Love them all!
