I have so many good things to say about this wedding, but with so many pictures to post, I just better get on with it. Tony and Melissa had a full day of events to photograph. I started out at Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska, WI taking pictures of the guys. Can you believe it? I actually got to take pictures of the guys getting ready. That never happens.
Ever wonder what the guys do while the girls get all fancy? Here’s your answer…
I broke up the madness for one nice picture.
Then I headed over to the E-Spa salon in La Crosse where my second shooter, Dawn Silva, was already taking pictures of the girls. This photo was taken by Dawn.
I’ve never been to E-Spa before. It is really cute inside. Lots of little things to photograph, and perfect to get a shot of Melissa’s shoes. 🙂
After the salon, we headed over to First Evangelical Lutheran Church in La Crosse, WI. I was so excited to photograph in this church. I drive by it almost every day and almost every day I think, “I want to photograph a wedding there.” There are lots of great nooks and crannies for pictures.
Melissa and Tony saw each other before the ceremony. Melissa really wanted a picture like this one and it is so nice to have Dawn around to capture it. Gorgeous!
Melissa has the most gorgeous skin. No skin touch-ups here, none!
We had so much time for pictures before the ceremony. I was one happy photographer!
Picking “ugly” locations can be so great!
And, of course, we’ll always get pretty shots, too. See the butterfly to the right?
Then we went back to the church for the ceremony.
Part 2 coming tomorrow – the reception (and more).
