Oh, boy I have a lot of pictures to share from Aaron and Nicole’s Century Barn wedding!
First, though, I have to tell a quick story. When Nicole first contacted me, she said her fiance remembered me from Viterbo University. I didn’t go to Viterbo, so I quickly dismissed it as someone that must look like me. After talking to Nicole more on the phone and finding out that she is from Arizona and they live in Arizona, I wondered where Aaron was from and why they were getting married in Wisconsin. Turns out that Aaron and I are both from Viroqua! He was two year younger than me in school. After I saw a picture of him, I quickly remembered him (Viroqua isn’t that big, afterall :-)). I was so delighted when they booked me. It was so fun to “sort of” know Aaron and his family, and everyone at this intimate wedding was so friendly. It was a good day.
A big thank you to Molly Walbrun (another Viroqua High alum) for second shooting with me.

Several times throughout the day I said to myself, “Are you kidding me with this veil?” So gorgeous!
Aren’t these doors so fun?
After I took this shot, I think they thought I was having some sort of “fit.” I was rather excited. 🙂
Aaron and Nicole had a “wish dance.” It was one of the most moving moments I’ve experienced at a wedding yet. They shut off all of the lights in the barn, lit candles, stood in a circle, and a very talented friend of Aaron’s played and sang a song for them on his guitar. Thank goodness for my new cameras this year. These shots just would not have been possible with my old cameras.
Thank you, Aaron and Nicole! What a wonderful day. I wish you two the very best!
