Hickory & Erin’s wedding sneak peak | La Crosse, WI wedding photographer

I’ve been looking forward to Hickory and Erin’s wedding for a long time. I shot Erin’s brother’s wedding a couple of years ago (Jeff and Alex). Erin and Hickory were dating then and I remember commenting to my second shooter that day (Hi, Steph!), that Erin would be such a fun bride. I was definitely hoping that they would get married, and of course that I could shoot the wedding. 🙂 I think it is such an honor to be asked back again within a family.

Thank you to Brittany Lotzer for second shooting with me.

Details:

  • Ceremony: The North Arbor, Riverside park
  • Reception: The Waterfront
  • Flowers: Jane Ledbury
  • Bride’s dress: Vera’s Bridal, Madison
  • Bridesmaid dresses: Mestads, Rochester, MN
  • Tuxes: The Wedding Tree, La Crosse
  • DJ: Music in Motion, La Crosse
  • Cake: Linda’s Bakery

Erin and Hickory’s moms had this cute moment before the ceremony.

It was actually sprinkling a little while the wedding party and Erin walked down the aisle, but I could see that it was clearing up. The second Erin reached Hickory, the sun came out. It was pretty amazing.

It stormed a little during the reception, but then cleared up again so that we could finish with some night pictures. I’ll say it again, the area outside of the Waterfront is sooo pretty at night. However, none of the twinkle lights were on after the storm! We all walked around trying to figure out how to plug them in, and Hickory got this one tree working. Perfect.
