On Wednesday I traveled down to Monroe to visit with Hickory and Erin. We walked around downtown Monroe (which actually has a population over 10,000 – who knew?), and then headed to Hickory’s parent’s farm. I loved the farm so much, I’m posting a whole lot of pictures from there. Last year, I shot Erin’s brother’s wedding (Jeff and Alex). I remembered at the time hoping Erin and Hickory would get married and that I would get to shoot their wedding. I love getting asked back within a family. Erin and Hickory, thanks for showing me around Monroe!
See, jumping straight to the farm pictures. 🙂
I love hearing proposal stories, and Erin and Hickory have a good one! When Hickory proposed, he bought Erin a “brown cow” because she thought they needed other cows besides Holsteins. Erin named her cow Ms. Sparkles. I think we were all a little surprised that she actually came right up to Erin and gave her a kiss!
Hickory has been studying my blog, and asked if they should sit in this ditch to get some pictures with the wildflowers. Um, yes, please! I got chills after I took this one. The hat totally makes the shot. 🙂
Not to be left out, their dog, Frankie. I kept forgetting about Frankie and we finally included him at the end for a few special pictures with mom and dad.
Can’t wait until next June for their wedding!
