Friday evening, I photographed a very different kind of event for me, a surprise party! Stephanie of John and Stephanie contacted me shortly after her wedding wondering if I would photograph her mom’s surprise birthday party held at the Freight House in La Crosse, WI. I didn’t have a wedding on Saturday, so I thought it would be fun to do something different. It was nice to concentrate just on candids and details and a few posed shots. It was like a mini-wedding reception.
I think she was surprised!
The lovely room…I’m a little partial to this room because our wedding reception was held here.
