I will say it over and over again. This age is perfection for photos. It really is key for your child to be sitting up independently, which doesn't always happen at 6 months. I like to schedule these sessions closer to 7 months (or even later). They are usually called "sitter sessions" because we're documenting that new skill of sitting independently. I love 1 year sessions too, but if you can only photograph your child one time during that first year, pick somewhere between 6 and 9 months. It's the best age. <3
