Saturday I had the honor of shooting Scott & Molly’s gorgeous wedding at Norskedalen in Coon Valley, Wisconsin. I’ve known Molly since elementary school and have many wonderful memories with her. We didn’t really keep in touch after high school though as she has all been all over the country — Chicago, Arizona, and now her and Scott live in Alaska. I was very honored and very excited when Molly asked me to photograph their wedding. At one point during the day it hit me that I wasn’t just photographing anybody’s wedding, but Molly’s wedding. I don’t get to photograph weddings for people that I know very often, and it was a complete joy!

I helped Molly and Scott pick this ceremony location last fall when they were visiting. I have had this picture in my mind for a year! 🙂

Scott and his groomsmen were so polite. They decided that they really wanted to smash the pumpkins leftover from the ceremony. So, they choose to throw them in this field, but then they actually didn’t smash. So, after a second’s thought, they decided they better just pick up the pumpkins. 🙂

I couldn’t have loved Molly more for doing this!

The reception was held in the shelter at Norskedalen and the dance was in a tent next to it. Everything was so beautiful! I love the combination of rustic yet elegant.

Thank you Molly and Scott! What a great day and a complete honor to have been a part of it! Enjoy Fiji in February!!
