Last week, I met up with Eric and Alison who are getting married next May. It’s so hard to wait a whole year for someone’s wedding. Everytime I shoot an engagement session, I want their wedding to just hurry up and get here already. I had a great time walking around downtown La Crosse, Riverside, and Grandad’s bluff with them. Funny story about up at Grandad’s bluff….keep reading. 🙂
When we got to Riverside, we discovered truckloads of students visiting for the State Track and Field competition. I’ve never seen Grandad’s so busy before. We got creative with some of our locations up there, but still really wanted that one picture at the overlook.
So, we waited and waited and it was getting a little bit dark, but the kids were still there just standing around talking. Finally, one of the chaperons asked if we wanted them to leave so we could take pictures. All of a sudden everyone was super interested in our engagement session and started “clinking” on things to get Alison and Eric to kiss. I’ve never had such a large crowd before watching me shoot an engagement session! Alison and Eric were great though, and I think the wait (and bit of embarrassment) was worth it. 🙂
Thanks, guys for a super fun night! I’m so anxious for 2011 already!
