Sunday was Luke and Heather’s super simple and super beautiful wedding. They booked me just 6 weeks prior and they had been planning for just a little longer than that. Because they planned for a Sunday wedding, everything seemed to easily fall into place, even the weather for their outside ceremony. Also, a big thanks to my second shooter, Dawn Silva. I heard a rumor that Dawn might be getting a blog up and running and posting some pictures herself (though her site is down right now). Dawn is graduating from college soon and is pursuing her career in nursing. I’m so sad Dawn is leaving, but she’ll be helping me with one more wedding on Memorial Day weekend.

The road we had to travel to get to their cabin was a bit, um, rustic. ๐ I loved the signs that they put up.
Heather was a TROOPER is all I can say. She tromped around in the woods before the ceremony, and she has allergies. Her dress got a little dirty, but baby wipes cleaned it right up (excellent tip to remember!).
Heather’s ring was pretty much the most amazing ring, ever. Dawn and I and most of their wedding guests were drooling over it.
