Saturday was the wedding of Matt and Kristi. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Radisson hotel in downtown La Crosse, WI. It was another beautiful day.

The ceremony was “short and sweet.”
After the ceremony, we took pictures at Riverside. We tried to recreate the Beatles, Abbey Road album cover, but as someone pointed out, we had too many Beatles. It was a nice deviation though from my “Reservoir Dogs shot” that I normally take.

After dinner and before the dance the wedding party hit up the Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse. I captured one of my most favorite shots ever there. I posed Matt and Kristi in these chairs and took a few pictures, but as I walked away, I saw them looking at each other like this. This shot turned out better than any of my posed ones.
Saturday’s wedding was so nice for me because it was my first wedding with an assistant/second shooter. These photos are taken by Dawn Silva. It was her first wedding, and she did an awesome job!
Matt and Kristi, you had such a nice day. It’s refreshing how sweet you are with each other. I know you’ll have many, many years of happiness together. Congrats!
