Tim and Sarah, married

Saturday was the beautiful wedding of Tim and Sarah. So, speaking of rain. It poured right before the ceremony, and I was oh so nervous about what we were going to do about the “fun” pictures we were supposed to take after the ceremony. But, the sun came out and it ended up being a gorgeous day. Really, my luck has to run out some time!

I was really looking forward to Tim and Sarah’s wedding. They were my first couple to book me after I “officially” started my business and my first engagement session as a pro. Their ceremony was held at the Blessed Sacrament Parish in La Crosse, WI. Blessed Sacrament is one of my new favorite churches, but it is so dark. For you camera junkies out there, I had my ISO at 1600 and my aperture at 2.8! My favorite part of the day to photograph though is by far the ceremony. I could post about 50 of my favorites here, but just these will have to do for today.

Sarah’s niece and nephew were the cutest.

After the ceremony, the wedding party piled into their chartered bus and headed over to Pettibone Park in La Crosse, WI. It really was just the perfect afternoon for taking pictures.

And, of course, my favorite little pose of the moment.

It wouldn’t be a wedding without a headless shot!

After Pettibone, we headed downtown (see their bus?). This past weekend was a HUGE motorcycle meetup in La Crosse (like 30,000 some people). There were motorcycles EVERYWHERE. I had to get at least one picture of one.

Finally, the reception was held downtown La Crosse, WI at the La Crosse Center.

Tim and Sarah, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. You had a beautiful wedding day and I have no doubt that you’ll have a lifetime of happiness together.

  1. I love the blue that this couple chose, especially in her bouquet. It looks wonderful in the pictures.
