Kory & Ashley, engaged

I feel like I could write a novel about Kory and Ashley! They were the first couple that I talked to at Wedding World. Later, when we met up to talk, I found out that Kory was from Westby and graduated the year before I did. I then found out that Kory is a band director for a local school district. I put two and two together and realized that we had met before back in high school when I was the drum majorette for Viroqua High School and he was the drum major for Westby High School. Then, later, after some thought, I talked with my mom and remembered that our moms know each other! I love small towns. I love how they found me randomly, but we have all of these connections.

Anyways, besides the connections, I’m so happy that Kory and Ashley decided to book me for their July 2009 wedding. They are such a fun couple. I love that they made their engagement session unique by incorporating some of their interests into the pictures. They both have awesome, old cars that we used for some pictures. They had quite the time getting Ashley’s VW Beetle there, but it was so worth it, I think.

Of course, we had to include Kory’s trumpet.

We also took pictures at Kory’s parents house, and at the park in Westby.

We fit their session in between thunderstorms on Sunday. I’m so glad we did, because the pictures turned out great and it was a fun session. I don’t know if I can wait a whole year for their wedding! 🙂

  1. You have a knack for capturing the moment with different views, lighting and angles. I can’t wait to see more! I am a bit biased as Kory is my Nephew and Ashley is great young lady.

  2. Your welcome, ha! 🙂 I’m glad you like the pictures so far.

Thanks for the comment, Diana. I love the tire one too!

  3. These are awesome, love the one of the tire and how great they incorporated their interests in their session!

  4. Thanks so much for a great day Tiffany! The pictures look great and I can’t wait to see the rest of them. Thanks for making the rain clouds go away!
