Saturday was the wedding of Jules and Justine. You may remember them from their engagement session, and you may remember that they were having an outdoor ceremony at Norskedalen. The day started out ok, but while I was packing up to head to the wedding, it started raining. As I was driving there, it started pouring and then the torrential downpours started. I’m not joking either. I had to pull over two times on the way there to wait for the storm to pass! I was so nervous about what the day was going to bring. But, while Justine and her bridesmaids were getting ready, the rain stopped. It stayed away long enough to have pictures outside and to have the ceremony outside. Their reception was inside the pavilion, and as soon as dinner was ready, it started to pour again. It rained off and on the rest of the night, but it was sort of cozy. Luckily, all of the guests came and went safely. The road to Norskedalen is closed now after all of the additional rain on Sunday.
Of course, I took lots of detail shots. I loved that they included their engagement pictures throughout the reception.
What a crazy day! Jules and Justine, you definitely had a wedding day we won’t forget! 🙂
