Sunday was Matt and Kerstin’s wedding held at English Lutheran church and the reception at the Waterfront in La Crosse. I’ve been really anxious to shoot at the Waterfront, which opened just last year, but more on that later. First, the girls got ready at the Radisson in downtown La Crosse. My second shooter, Dawn Silva, of course joined me this week.
Kerstin decided not to wear these pearls (which were her grandmother’s), but I had to photograph them in their Tiffany box. I had to. 🙂
All of the bridesmaids got to carry these cute purses.
At practically every wedding, I always ask Dawn what these flowers are. I love them. They are stephanotis, which everyone already knows I’m sure, but maybe I’ll finally remember their name now.
Matt and Kerstin had their first look in the courtyard at English Lutheran.

After we took the formal pictures, we had some time for just Matt and Kerstin around the church.
Everything coordinated so well – the programs, the invitations, and even the rehearsal dinner invitation. Gorgeous!

I love when the officiant announces a couple husband and wife. I love the expressions and I know the feelings they must have.

But then off to the reception at the Waterfront! Really, the room was gorgeous. What an amazing place for a reception right here in the La Crosse area. It is one of the only venues with views of the Mississippi river and did I mention it was gorgeous? I’m so anxious for my two other weddings there yet this year!

Hello, live band! Josh and the Empty Pockets, rock! They are a cover band from the Chicago area, but also have their own CD with their own music. They were so fun.
