Yes, after my engagement session with Jesse and Kari, I might want to start traveling more….so perhaps I will be more of a Madison engagement and wedding photographer in time. It really was so fun to get out of a La Crosse for the day and to meet up with Jesse and Kari in Madison, WI. I am photographing their wedding in September in Wisconsin Dells. They live close to Madison though. So, of course, I was very happy to do their engagement session there, especially when Sunday turned out to be just gorgeous!
Jesse and Kari picked the locations and they did a fantastic job. We met at Olbrich Botantial Gardens, which was just absolutely lovely.
Kari has the prettiest eyes!

Then we headed over to State Street. I really wanted to capture the busy, city feel in some of the pictures, so the random pedestrians and cars were perfect, even the saxophone player.
We found some quiet spots too.
State Street is pretty close to the lake.
Jesse and Kari, a BIG thank you for such an awesome session. I had a great time and really enjoyed getting to know you two better. I am most definitely looking forward to your wedding in September!
