Today I photographed this beautiful family expecting a baby girl in June. I started off with some family pictures, wanting to capture this family of 4 before they suddenly become a family 5.
I can’t decide between these two. I like to see their faces, but I like the silhouettes too.
The kids grew tired of me and wanted their well-deserved ice cream, so I took mom with me to a nearby field. I know I’ve been taking a ton of these kind of pictures lately, but I love them! Soon, it will be all green grass and leaves and blossoms. I’m just embracing the brown. 🙂
Her tattoo is the coordinates of where their children were born in Guatemala. Mom said she’s going to add one for La Crosse. 🙂
I’m so happy that I was able to capture this time in their life. It is so exciting for them. Watch for them again this summer when their baby girl arrives. I can’t wait!

How cute are those kids?! My favorite is of the family holding hands…love the very artistic black and white, but I can’t resist the tie dyed t-shirt in the color version!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the shot of mom in the doorway with the kiddos sitting at her feet!!! And I too am addicted to the brown, weedy fields!!! Keep ’em coming! 🙂
