Saturday I traveled to McGregor, IA for Doug and Alissa’s wedding. I had been looking forward to this one for a long time. I love McGregor; it is such a cute town! They chose such fun locations for their ceremony and reception too. I have ate at the Beer and Brat Garden in McGregor quite a few times, and just loved that they had their reception there. It was a fun spot and great food! A BIG thank you to Stephanie Neprud for second shooting with me.

So, I have next weekend off (after having 6 weddings in a row!), and then 3 weddings left and I’m finished for the year! I’ll be posting more details soon about my maternity leave, but I will not be shooting after October 17th and will resume again next year.

What an AWESOME wedding. I am in love with the details and the getting ready location. that shoe shot is amazing. and the one with the bride alone with her veil over her face is perfect. I seriously feel like i could reach out and touch her veil it is so vivid. perfectly wonderful as usual! and hooray for a weekend off! You deserve it!
