Sign me UP

Despite Saturday’s chilly temps, it was a beautiful winter day. I was very excited to get out to shoot John and Lisa’s engagement session. They are getting married this October in Wausau, so I’m unfortunately not shooting their wedding. But, it was so nice getting to know them. They picked two great locations, downtown La Crosse and Vets Park in West Salem. I am posting a lot of favorites, but I thought everyone is probably ready to see some new pictures. 🙂

We stepped into the Root Note, a new-ish restaurant and coffee shop downtown. We needed to warm up a bit.

Then to Vets Park and the light was just perfect. I’ve been enjoying my time off, but the second I got here with this light, I realized how much I have missed weddings and sessions.

John and Lisa, thanks for a good afternoon and letting me squeal over the beautiful light. 🙂
